About the Recipe
Kale is a vegan's best friend (other than avocado lol). I love kale! Kale salad, kale in smoothies, kale in my soup, kale on my sandwiches and wraps, kale is life ha ha! I was first introduced to kale through this recipe and it's my go to as a side dish or a great addition to bowls, tacos, nachos, you name it. Try not to eat it all as it cooks and let me know how it turns out.
Cook Time:
15 Minutes

Ingredients
Veggies:
Tri-color peppers  (1/2 c)Â
Red Onions (1/4 c)Â
Fresh kale (1-2 c)
Toppings:Â
Red pepper flakesÂ
Mrs. Dash Chipotle seasoning
Spices: (season to taste)
Onion Powder (1 tsp)Â
Garlic Powder (1 tsp)Â
Sea Salt (just a dash)Â
Black Pepper (just a dash)Â
Red pepper flakes (1/2 tsp)Â
Don't Forget:
Grapeseed Oil ( 1-2 tbsp - Â or any other oil you have)
Preparation
Step 1
add low heat to your pan and 1-2 tbsp of grapeseed oilÂ
Step 2
add diced tri-color peppers and red onions with a dash of sea salt, black pepper, onion powder and garlic power to your pan
Step 3
sautee your veggies for 3-5 minutes  and de-stalk your kale and rise well while you wait
Step 4
add kale to the pan with another tbsp of grapeseed oil and seasoning (including the red pepper flakes this time)
Step 5
let your kale to cook down and soften (you will notice that the large cups of kale you once had will shrivel) for 4-7 minutes or so
Step 6
once your kale is to your liking (I like mine a little crispy so I turn my heat up to medium for the last couple minutes) give it a taste and add more spices as needed
Step 7
Serve on your favorite plate or as a side with your main dish
