7 Layer Tacos in a Bag

About the Recipe

Tacos are a divine gift that we should all enjoy in as many different ways as we can

Cook Time:

20 Minutes

Ingredients

Veggies:

  • Leafy greens (romaine, green/red leaf, etc) 

  • Diced tomatoes 

  • Diced Onions 


Toppings: 

  • Vegan Grounds (check our Instagram for some great brand suggestions) 

  • Black Beans 

  • Vegan Sour Cream

  • Vegan Shredded Cheese 

  • Cliantro

  • Taco Sauce 


Spices: (season to taste)

  • Taco Seasoning (in the packet if you have it) 

  • Cumin

  • Onion Powder 

  • Garlic Powder 

  • Chilli Powder 


Don't Forget:

  • Grapeseed Oil 1( tbsp - or any type of oil you have)

  • Chips (grab any brand that's vegan friendly) 

Preparation

Step 1


place your vegan grounds and spices in a pan with 1 -2 tbsp of oil 


Step 2


as your vegan grounds cook, bring your black beans to a slow boil on medium heat



Step 3


while your beans start to boil, cut your leafy greens into shreds 



Step 4


stir your beans and mix your grounds (great time to do a taste test and see if you need to add anything else) 



Step 5


grab your chips and either keep them whole or start to crush them into smaller peices (any brand  chips will work as long as they don't have milk products so be mindful, some Doritios are ok but Late July is a great vegan brand) 


Step 6


now it's time to layer your tacos! add your vegan grounds, beans, onions, tomatoes, leafy greens, cheese, sour cream, and saucses in any order you want! 


Step 7


grab a fork and enjoy!
